The GiuFra Project is comprised of Giulio Genua and Frank Mogavero. Giulio and Frank have been friends for 30+ years and have been composing music since they were teenagers. Everything is produced using Cakewalk's Sonar software. As two ambitious teenagers they began writing a rock opera. You can listen to some of those songs even though the rock opera is still unfinished. Lacking a true lead vocalist, most of the tunes are instrumental.
Giulio has been playing bass for 30+ years and is primarily self taught. He composed nearly all of the drum and guitar lines using the Sonar software. He also sings on many of the songs. His influences include Rush, Led Zeppelin, Yes, Pink Floyd, Supertramp, Styx, Genesis, Van Halen, Kiss, Black Sabbath, Blue Oyster Cult and whatever else he can get his ears on.
Frank has been playing keyboards for almost 38 years. He also sings and plays guitar, bass and drums. Frank's influences are too many to realistically list them all. Progressive rock, jazz, fusion and new age music only begin to describe his style and abilities. Emerson, Lake and Palmer and Elton John at least must be mentioned.
Together they honed their songwriting and recording/production skills to create an eclectic type of rock that showcases an all around musical craft.
Giulio's teenage daughter helps with vocals and brings a hypnotic, haunting vocal sound to their productions.
